Force required to stop the Car (using MathCAD)

A car mass 1500kg is moving with a velocity of 50 km/h. What is force required to stop the car at a distance of 100 m?

The velecity of 50 km/h is equal to 13.89 m/s, using Mathcad type v:50km/hr=

The kinetic energy T is

first define the variabel m, type m.car:1500kg

type T.car:1/2 space *m.car*v^2=

The force F required to stop the car can be obtained by equating Fx (where x is the distance) and T.

type F*x ctrl = T.car

to solve the F, after type type F*x ctrl = T click solve from this toolbar

create variabel x to solve F above the equation by typing x:100m enter and you should get like this
